Visual identity for Cisco Customer Experience Day

CX Day is celebrated on October 1st each year by companies around the world. To celebrate and promote Cisco's services and customer experience, I collaborated with the Customer Experience Marketing Team and office of the CXO to design, art direct, and write messaging for a small campaign.

The theme, "The Art and Science of CX," was our starting point for messaging and design.

Short theme summary

Perfecting CX is an art and a science. We celebrate the artists and scientists building extraordinary experiences.

Long theme summary

Perfecting Customer Experience is an art and a science. Like art and science, great CX requires curiosity, technology, teamwork, continual improvement, and passion for the outcome. Our teams are artful in how they apply technology. They are incisive in how they understand people and relationships. CX professionals are the artists and scientists building extraordinary experiences, and we celebrate them today.

Molecules created on the grid

I created a flexible molecule graphic to pair with messaging. The molecule represents teamwork, collaboration, and Cisco services - all coming together to work for the customer.

Final direction

The molecule easily adapts to various applications. The pattern can grow, shrink, or be modified to fit specific messaging. The colorful gradient captures the "art" and human part of Cisco's business while the molecule captures the science portion - hardware, software, and services.

Assets included social cards, web and email banners, and digital appreciation cards. The campaign was used both internally and externally by teams throughout CX.
